IELTS Trainer Practice Tests – includes tips, explanations, exercises, 2 training sections, 4 practical ones, full answers with description (Academic only)
The Official Cambridge Guide to IELTS — provides you with general guidance, tips and hints to tackle each section in IELTS test (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing) and 10 standardized practical tests (8 tests for Academic Module and 2 for General one)
Kaplan’s IELTS Premier with 8 Practice Tests (Third Edition) — provides in-depth review, test-taking strategies, and test-like practice for all four sections of the Academic and General Training IELTS tests.
IELTS practice tests
IELTS Cambridge 1-13 — the most important and useful series of books you can collect in studying for IELTS, published by the same people who make the actual tests so they provide an invaluable insight into the test. It’s better to use starting with 10th. Books 1-10 are Academic only, books 11-13 are divided into Academic and General ones.

Official IELTS Practice Materials Volume 1 and Volume 2 — this pack shows how each of the tests is assessed and provides some valuable tips and even includes model answers at various band score levels for the Writing tasks.

One of the best ways to practice right before the exam is to use Recent IELTS questions. It’s extremely important because these are actual questions and topics, which are asked during IELTS.
